When I was ten, my dad started his own real estate business. A few years later, the 2008 housing market crash hit, and his income disappeared almost overnight. But as kids, my siblings and I barely noticed. Looking back, I realize how much he sacrificed to shield us from the stress and uncertainty he was carrying.
That realization has stayed with me.
As a husband and father, I don’t want families to have to navigate those kinds of challenges without a plan. Because no matter how much someone earns, life can change quickly. One difficult season can create tremendous pressure without a strong financial foundation.
